TRADITION AND INNOVATION: A LOOK TO THE FUTURE SINCE 1950

For three generations our company has been designing and manufacturing furniture. It’s not just about furnishings, it’s a modern production philosophy, passion for wood and the expression of our identity. Our activity begins at the end of 1920 with our grandfather, Master cabinet-maker, and continues with our father who develops and enlarges the company, and, in the 90s under our guide: we are Magda and Flavio. Always with an eye to the future, and with the identifiable nature of all our products in mind, we set our goals on what we do best with a continuous and passionate exploitation and research. Our strength comes from the balance between technology and our know-how. We don’t want an homologated or common piece of furniture but we want the protagonist of its time and space. This is the reasonPictoom was born.

Two worlds in one word. It’s not just art and it’s not just furniture. It is the image that dresses a piece of furniture and it is the piece of furniture that gives shape to the image. From the furnishings we understand so many things about people, from the colors and shapes we can perceive everyone’s tastes and lifestyle. That’s why when we choose anything we do it trying to reflects ourselves in that choice. The furniture is identity. Illustration is art. It is an art that has the strength to get out of paper and to create a direct link with people. We want to overcome that concept of incomprehensible, distant and expensive art. We want to give a piece of furniture made of art that is understandable, human and exciting. Having a Pictoom furniture means going from exposing a piece of art to living it. It is no longer “look but don’t touch”. It has become bringing home a piece of ourselves that represents us. The Marogna company and some of the most famous Italian illustrators, also at international level, today propose this.
